    Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, has announced the roadmap to converge Indian Accounting Standards with IFRS. These converged Accounting Standards will be applicable to specified entities in phases, starting from 1-4-2011 to 1-4-2014. This roadmap has been incorporated in this edition. However the converged Accounting Standards which are yet to be issued will apply to specified entities w.e.f 1-4-2011 onwards. Updation has been done keeping in view the requirement of CA final (New) Course. The suggested answers of May 2010, Financial Reporting Paper (New Syllabus) has also been incorporated. I have made some changes on the basis of suggestions received from the readers/students. I express my thanks for the suggestiosn given by number of readers of the book. I may also mention that whileconsiderable care has been taken to ensure that contents are accurate, a few erros are inherent in work of this kind, therefore, with all humility I seek suggestions and guidance from the readers.
