Sardar Patel made possible the unification of India on geographical, politial and economic grounds. A major part of existing literatureis mainly descriptive and biographical. Most of the writers have tended not to focus as much on his Political activist.That is understandable. There is need to relate his ideas and attempt to view them in a certain perspective. The present work is an attempt to focus mainly on his political ideas about Secularism, Nationalism and National Integration etc. This unique work would be a source of inspiration for the people of India.
