Author Biography
Binod C. Agrawal, M.S., Ph.D. (Wisconsin), is currently Director, TALEEM Research Foundation and involved in promoting open and distance learning and setting up University in the Sky. Until recently he was with Space Application Centre, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Ahmedabad where he worked over two decades and pioneered use of qualitative methods for communication research during the world famous Satellite Instructional Television Experiment (SITE). Dr. Agrawal is founder Director of Mudra Institute of communication, Ahmedabad (MICA) where qualitative research technique were used for developing Health related communication messages. His publications include over a dozen Books on television, Computer technology, and anthropological studies. Dr. Agrawal represented India in several international communication research forums. Currently he his also President of the National Council for Development Communication, India.
