Youth in all ages have been in the vanguard of progress and social change. Thirst of freedom, impatience for a quicker pace of progress and a passion for innovation, coupled with idealism and creative fervour saw the youth in the forefront of freedom struggle. Youth represent the most vibrant section of the society. They play a pivotal role in socio-economic changes and development of the society. A nation can progress only when the energy of youth is channelised into construcitve work. It is imperative that youth are given a major role in the process of development.
