Dr. Boyun Guo is an Associate Professor in the Petroleum Engineering Department at The University of Louisiana at LaFayette. Dr. Guo is author of 11 technical papers published in professional journals and 21 technical papers published in conferences proceedings. He also developed the commercial UBD software AeroDrill® and teaches seminars and short courses on well construction and well drilling/workover. He earned a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Daquing Petroleum Institute (China), a M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Tech, and a Ph.D. from New Mexico Tech. Dr. Ali Ghalambor currently serves as Petroleum Department Head at The University of Louisiana at LaFayette. He is a API Endowed Professor and has written several published technical papers for SPE conferences and various technical journals. He earned a B.S. and a M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Southwestern Louisiana, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences and Engineering, Mining and Minerals Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
