About Author : Devi Prasad graduated from Rabindranath Tagore's school in Santiniketan. He participated in the Quit India Struggle and Vinoba Bhave's Gramdan movement. In 1944, he joined Gandhiji's ashram, Sevagram, where he worked on child art and education and also edited Nayee Talim till 1962. He became Secretary General of War Resisters' International, London, and later its Chairman (1962-1975). He retured to his art activity as a potter i 1972 ad continued working with the peace movement.
