The diversity of colour, form and size that exists among bulbous ornamentals and aquatic plants are usually much appreciated; there subtale and incidious charm add to the beauty of the landscape. International trade on these crops are rising rapidly and world-wide queries for new material are increasing. Apart from the ornamental value, many of these groups of plants are consumed as food and medicine, they also provide fibre and other useful material to mankind. About Author : Prof. S.K.
