The book delves into contentious issues such as the right of self-determination that is central to the debate on Plebiscite in Kashmir in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). More recently, the Chinese presence in the region has been considered, which is bound to grow with the development of CPEC, which runs through the Northern Areas.
